Jeton NEZIRAJ

Jeton Neziraj (1977) is a playwright from Kosovo. He has written over 15 plays which have been staged and performed both in Kosovo and abroad, some of which have been translated and published in other languages. He was professor of dramaturgy at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Prishtina in 2007-2008 and artistic director of the National Theatre of Kosovo, and is currently the founder and director of Qendra Multimedia, a cultural production company based in Prishtina (www.qendra.org). The present tragicomedy of the absurd, The Demolition of the Eiffel Tower, was presented in New York in the autumn of 2011.
